Welcome Mola Omogbehin as Pack Committee Chair.
Mola, whose son Yomi is a 1st year Webelos, chaired the February committee
meeting. Paul Brown continues as a Committee Member as does former chairman, Ed
Mihalski who will stay on the job as Treasurer. Ed started in Pack 246 as a
Tiger Leader in 2000, served as Cub Scout Den Leader, and as Cubmaster.
At the February meeting, the Committee:

Heard reports from the Cubmaster and Treasurer, |

Discussed the upcoming program (Pinewood Derby,
Family ski trip, Blue and Gold dinner), |
|
Approved a budget for 2008-09, and |
|
Emphasized the need to have parents complete and
return BSA health information forms. |
From the July 2008 Program Planning session:

bag materials will be provided by families instead of being purchased.

| Pack
T-shirts will be sold for $10.00 with any remaining cost picked up by the
Pack.
|
| Den
dues are prohibited. Under current policy Den Leaders are allowed a per
scout amount to spend on materials that will be reimbursed from Pack funds. |
